As you can see from the pictures, the original City Hall was in a very small building. In fact, it was just one room with the fire truck parked behind the room in the garage. Thanks to all the efforts Mayor Robby Moore made in securing a USDA loan and construction began.
Today the Lobelville City Hall includes a meeting room, several offices, including a specified front office and kitchen for the convenience of the staff. Additionally, the Lobelville Library, a branch of the Perry County Library System, was moved from a one-room storefront on a side street in Lobelville, to the second half of City Hall. It makes us all proud to see City Hall and the Lobelville Library showcased on Main St.
